ABOUT
DAVID MONARCH
David Monarch was admitted to the California State Bar in 2006. Shortly after, he joined the team of Castle & Monarch Family Law. David was deemed Certified Family Law Specialist by the California Board of Legal Specialization in 2012. David is a member of the Orange County Chapter of the Association of Certified Family Law Specialists.
In 2021, David began his own law practice, Monarch Family Law, APC.

Samantha Katinos earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Journalism from the University of Oregon. She later earned a Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California where she focused her studies on families and children. During her studies, Samantha had the opportunity to work with children and families in brief therapy.

Dale Castle has been practicing law for over 40 years. Dale was admitted to the bar in 1973 and co-founded Millard & Castle in 1981, which later became Castle & Monarch Family Law in 2003. Dale is recognized as a Certified Family Law Specialist by the California Board of Legal Specialization. He is also a member of The American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and former president of the Orange County Bar Association- Family Law Section.
Hilliary Kish
Office Manager, Senior Legal Assistant
Hilliary graduated in 2012 with an A.S. in Social and Behavioral Studies. She then earned her B.A. in History/Law and Society from the University of California, Riverside in 2014. Later that same year she joined the team of Castle & Monarch Family Law where she worked until David began his own law practice, Monarch Family Law, in 2021. Hilliary has 10 years of experience dedicated to family law.
Sarah Heidari-scheerer
Legal Assistant
Sarah is in the process of studying to pass the California Bar Exam. She has a Juris Doctor degree and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. During law school, she volunteered at Orange County Rescue Mission Legal Clinic, where she was exposed to a variety of family law issues first-hand and developed a passion for family law.
Princess Hasan
Receptionist, Administrative Assistant
Princess has an Associate of Arts Degree from Irvine Valley College and graduated from University of California, Irvine in 2022 with her B.A. in Criminology, Law and Society. She is in the process of studying for her Juris Doctor Degree and plans to practice family law in the future.

David specializes in all aspects of family law including divorce, property division, business evaluation, paternity matters, child support, spousal support, contempts, domestic violence, child custody, visitation, and modification of support and custody/visitation orders. Clients range from common divorce with modest estates to many of the county’s elite, including professional athletes, celebrities, and those with multimillion dollar estates.

Samantha Katinos
She also gained valuable insight and experience interning with Orange County Social Services, which led to her strong desire to practice family law.
Samantha received her Juris Doctor from Whittier Law School, explicitly with the intent to practice family law upon her commencement from law school. While at Whittier, Samantha was a Family and Children’s Rights Fellow, earned a Children’s Rights Certificate and participated in the Family and Children’s Rights Clinic. After graduating, Samantha interned at the Harriet Buhai Center for Family Law in Los Angeles, where she was able to help low-income families navigate the family law court system.
From her experience in the social work field, Samantha has developed a strong desire to holistically meet her client’s where they are at. She believes as an attorney, it is her job to truly listen, maintain an open-minded attitude and take a non-judgmental approach with her clients.
Her post-bar legal career has and continues to be dedicated exclusively to family law.
